The Covid-19 Pandemic has left many seniors citizens in isolation and surrounded by loss and trauma.  

"Boomer to Zoomer" provides customized tablets to senior citizens living in isolation. 

 

A licensed clinical social worker will meet one-on-one to provide clinical support and trauma informed care while also helping seniors find meaningful ways for them to socially engage online.  

Services are reimbursed by Medicare and Medicaid as well as all of our "In-Network" insurances.

Art for the Young at Heart

The Ink People Center for the Arts’ DreamMaker Program invites people 65 and older to participate in an online version of “Art for the Young at Heart,” an art class and clinically supported social engagement group. 

Classes taught by local artist Maureen McGarry and Co-Facilitated by Robin Wolff, LCSW

LEARN DRAWING AND PAINTING SKILLS AND PARTICIPATE IN A PEER SUPPORT GROUP.

 

PARTICIPANTS WILL NEED TO PURCHASE THEIR OWN ART SUPPLIES FOR $165 AT THE ART CENTER IN ARCATA, CA

  • Intro and Elements of Design exercise (Acrylics).

  • Still Life in Charcoal

  • Still life in color (chalk pastels)

  • Portrait Drawing in charcoal, then pencil
