This self-paced, 2.25-hour continuing education course provides behavioral health professionals, particularly solo practitioners and small practice owners, with practical, scenario-based training on federal privacy and security compliance. Through real-world examples, learners will explore core components of the HIPAA Privacy Rule, Security Rule, and Breach Notification Rule, with specific attention to clinical, administrative, and technical applications in outpatient mental health settings.
