Adults | Trauma, Chronic Pain, Grief, Emotional Distress | Trauma-Informed

Many people seek therapy when emotional pain, grief, trauma, or chronic health challenges begin to affect their sense of stability and well-being. My goal as a therapist is to create a space where you feel safe, respected, and supported as you begin working through those experiences and moving toward meaningful change.

Before becoming a therapist, I served as both a registered nurse and a military veteran. Those experiences shaped the way I understand resilience, adversity, and the importance of treating the whole person. They continue to influence my work today, especially in recognizing the connection between physical health, emotional well-being, and the life experiences that shape each individual’s story.

I work with adults who are navigating trauma, emotional distress, shame, grief, and the complex realities that can come with chronic pain. My approach is grounded in trauma-informed and person-centered care, which means our work together focuses on your experiences, your values, and the goals that matter most to you. I believe therapy works best as a collaborative process where we explore patterns, strengthen coping skills, and build a clearer path forward. My clinical work incorporates approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and strengths-based practices to support growth, insight, and practical change.

My goal in therapy is to walk alongside you as you build insight, strengthen resilience, and reconnect with your own capacity for growth and healing. Together we work toward helping you feel more grounded, more empowered, and more aligned with the life you want to create.
