Hello! My name is Korey and I am an MSW intern currently deepening my expertise in an outpatient therapy setting. My journey in the realm of therapy is fueled by a genuine desire to create a safe and nurturing environment for individuals seeking to find clarity, understanding, and healing. 

Drawing from a well-rounded therapeutic toolkit, my approach weaves together Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction. This integrative style ensures that I meet each individual where they are, tailoring my approach to resonate with their unique experiences and needs. 

My passion lies in supporting parents, young adults, and children who are navigating the choppy waters of life disruptions, separations, and transitions. I understand that these phases can often be accompanied by feelings of anxiety, distress, and depression or can be exacerbated by substance use issues and past traumas. 

Moreover, as a specialist in supporting parents and caregivers of children on the Autism spectrum, I offer a compassionate and informed lens to help families find balance, understanding, and effective coping strategies.
