It takes a lot of strength and courage to seek out therapy, and I’m glad you’re here. Life can be challenging, and sometimes we need a space to slow down, breathe, and make sense of what we’re feeling. My name is Maggie Meister (she/her), and I help adolescents and adults navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, and self-esteem concerns in a supportive and judgment-free space.
I work from a relational and evidence-informed approach, integrating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), trauma-informed care, solution-focused strategies, and strengths-based interventions to support your goals. My style is collaborative, direct when needed, and grounded in building a therapeutic relationship where you feel safe to unpack emotions, explore your story, and make meaningful changes.
In addition to my general practice, I have specialized experience working with youth and collegiate athletes. I enjoy helping athletes navigate performance anxiety, identity development, confidence, injury recovery, team dynamics, and the transition out of competitive sports. This work blends mental health with performance mindset, and supports athletes in learning skills they can carry both on and off the field.
All of my sessions are provided through a secure virtual platform, allowing you to show up as you are from the comfort of your own space. Outside of work, I love spending time with my husband and two daughters, traveling, and spending time on the water with friends and family. I look forward to working with you and helping you achieve the goals that matter most to you.
