Sharon Van Tuyle, LMSW
In my practice, I've had the privilege of assisting survivors of domestic violence, sexual abuse, and child abuse, which has broadened my understanding of resilience and fortified my resolve to fight for change. My clinical focus lies in managing anxiety, depression, and supporting individuals with disabilities, cultivating a safe space where healing can thrive.
I'm a Licensed Master Social Worker with over two decades of dedicated service in the field of mental health. My career, underpinned by my credentials as a certified grief counselor, trauma specialist, and EMDR practitioner, is rooted in a deep commitment to support and empower those affected by life’s most challenging circumstances.
My philosophy as a practitioner revolves around the power of autonomy, trust, and authenticity. I believe in helping others find their solutions, and I consider it both a sacred honor and a responsibility to walk alongside those overcoming fear and adversity. In every encounter, I aim to facilitate the process of finding strength, healing, and peace.
Throughout my career, I have continually been reminded of the strength and resilience that lie within each individual. As we work together, my hope is to help you harness that strength, guiding you toward the path of healing and peace.
In my free time, I love quilting, baking, riding horses and the constant company of my three dogs, Murphy, Teddy, and Lexy.
